Items approved included changes to the planning code to allow greater residential density in RH zoning districts, a slate of state grant acceptances for environmental and public-health programs, multiple lease and contract amendments, and the 2022 updates to state building codes as amended for San Francisco.
The measures adopted included:
- Ordinance amending the planning code to permit up to four dwelling units per lot (and up to six on corner lots) in RH residential house zoning districts (Item 7). Vote: 10–1; Supervisor Walton voted no. The ordinance was described on the agenda as affirming required findings for adoption.
- Authorization to accept and expend an approximately $1,500,000 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grant to the Department of Public Health and to add four grant-funded full-time positions (Item 8). Vote: unanimous on first reading (11–0).
