Historic commission adopts minutes, schedules next meeting and adjourns

At the start of the meeting a commissioner moved to accept the minutes of the previous meeting; another commissioner seconded the motion and the commission approved the minutes by voice vote with no recorded dissent.

The commission noted Dr. Ryan, the usual minutes taker, was absent and that he would prepare minutes from the videotape of the meeting. Members asked that an uncertainty about the status of Saint Mary’s Church (a prior historic-properties item) be noted in the minutes because the commission had received mixed reports about whether that property remains open or officially closed.

The commission scheduled its next meeting for Monday, Dec. 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the chambers and then approved a motion to adjourn by voice vote. No roll-call vote was recorded for either motion in the meeting record; both motions were adopted by voice vote.
