Approved items
- Approval of minutes from the commission meeting on May 21, 2025. The commission moved and approved the minutes; members recorded affirmative votes during roll call.
- Final plat: PZ-25-3, final plat for Marin Reserve Subarea B, Phase 2 (applicant Tyler Jackson with Kimley Horn). Planning staff reported the plat includes minor lot-width adjustments that resulted in the deletion of two lots to accommodate wider houses and third-car garages; staff said the street layout and overall development pattern were unchanged. The commission voted to approve the final plat; the transcript records affirmative votes from Miss McCoy, Mister Price, Mister Schwenk and Mister McCullough and the motion passed.
- Sign-code amendment: CZ-25-3, zoning code amendment Chapter 11.99 (signs). The changes are mainly clerical, remove references to the word "village," and remove a prior requirement that political candidates or parties obtain a permit before placing political signage. The commission voted to approve the sign-code amendment; recorded affirmative votes included Commissioners Schwenk, McCullough, McCoy and Price.
- Mobile-vendor code amendment: ZC-25-13, zoning code amendment Chapter 11.94 (mobile vendors). The commission approved the amendment with the condition staff will add explicit "annual" language where needed. The amendment changes the regime from per-location permits to a one-time annual registration covering a calendar year, allows electric cords during use, and keeps in place the requirement that vendors notify staff of the locations and times where they will operate. The fee for annual registration was not finalized at the meeting; staff said accounts will set the fee. Commissioners Coit, Price, McCullough and Swank voted in favor.
