Baldwin County honors 12 recipients with Environmental Stewardship Awards

The commission adopted the resolution by motion; commissioners praised the committee and recipients for volunteer service, work on dirt roads, recycling and education. One commissioner noted the county has worked to reduce a list of roughly 25 dirt-road segments in need of work. Another speaker emphasized the role of teachers and volunteers in building long-term stewardship.
