DDRC approves consent agenda; four routine items approved and March minutes adopted

The Design/Development Review Commission approved the consent agenda and adopted the March minutes without discussion. The consent items listed by staff included preliminary certification or certificate of design approval requests at the following addresses and districts: 3325 Lyles Street (Bailey Bill, Earlwood Protection Area, Area A); 900 Calhoun Street (St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, recommendation for Type 3 landmark in Governor’s Mansion Protection Area); 1000 Gervais Street (exterior changes and preliminary certification in West Gervais Historic Commercial District); and 210 William Street (addition and preliminary certification in Granby Architectural Conservation District).
Staff said there were no requests to remove items from the consent agenda for separate consideration. A motion to approve the consent agenda with all staff recommendations, and to approve the March minutes, passed unanimously. The commission chair reminded the public that decisions may be appealed within 30 days to a court of competent jurisdiction.
The approval means staff recommendations on those routine items will be implemented and the listed applications will proceed according to the city's design-review process.
