Lake County commissioners on April (date not specified) approved a package of actions including a resolution to allow emergency meetings with shortened public-notice procedures, formal acceptance of a Department of Homeland Security grant to supply a Starlink satellite terminal and up to 12 months of roaming service, and multiple memoranda of understanding and requests for proposals that the board said will advance county projects from the airport to the courthouse renovation.
