Waco to replace legacy utility and work-order systems with SpryPoint and CloudGen; SpryPoint scheduled to go live July 14

Lisa Tyre, director of community engagement, described SpryPoint as a modern customer information system that will replace the city’s more than 30-year-old legacy billing system. The new system will provide an updated customer portal, live chat, text and email options, more frequent meter-data updates and built-in reporting and dashboards. Tyre said customers will be required to re-enroll for the new portal and, if they use bank- or card-draft payments, to reestablish those payment arrangements in the new system.
