Ronan made a motion to continue the appeal to May 9; Supervisor Peskin seconded. The Board opened public comment limited to the continuance. Several speakers representing preservation and Latino-history interests supported the continuance so parties could finalize agreements and so that a pending Latino historic-context statement could be completed, while others representing labor and construction interests also supported continuation to allow negotiation of community benefits and labor agreements.
A roll-call vote recorded 10 ayes; Supervisor Safaí was absent. The clerk recorded the motion to continue to May 9 at 4:00 p.m. as adopted for this item.
