The San Francisco Board of Supervisors on June 3 adopted four resolutions (agenda items 17—20) authorizing the Office of Contract Administration to enter into amendments increasing authorized amounts for existing information-technology contracts.
The resolutions, taken together, increased contract ceilings as described on the record: the Seventh Amendment to the agreement with Central Computer Systems (item 17) to a total of $29,000,000; the Eighth Amendment with Endpoint (item 18) to $43,000,000; the Sixth Amendment with MicroMenders (item 19) to $18,000,000; and the Tenth Amendment with Extech (item 20) to $64,000,000. The clerk read the items into the record before the roll-call vote.
Vote: On items 17 through 20, the roll-call vote recorded 10 ayes and 1 no (Supervisor Sandoval voted no in the roll call). The resolutions were adopted.
Context: The items were presented as contract amendments to allow continued IT services and system maintenance under existing vendor agreements. The board approved the increases by roll call following staff presentation.
Next steps: The Office of Contract Administration will execute the respective amendments per the adopted resolutions. Implementation, oversight and vendor management remain under the appropriate city departments and the Office of Contract Administration.
