The council approved the appointment by a 5‑0 vote (Mayor Gary Singh, Vice Mayor Halford, Council Members Lackey, Morwitt and Breitenbucher). City staff said they would follow up with counsel on procedural questions raised during the consent discussion.
The appointment ensures the city has an alternate representative available for SJAFCA meetings.
