One commissioner recommended a Saturday session so the board can go piece by piece through the proposal.
Staff reported finding recent items that required clarification and returning sections to the consultant for revision. Commissioners agreed that additional internal review should precede public hearings so the board is prepared for adoption later in the process.
No formal vote on the UDC was taken at the Sept. 29 meeting; the board asked staff to schedule the additional review and return with an updated schedule for public hearings and adoption.
