Staff told the commission the project is advancing on schedule: design will occur this summer, right-of-way acquisition would start in fall and winter, and bid letting is targeted for early spring 2026. The agenda notes that the KDOT-managed portion of the project is not to exceed $1,136,075; any cost above that amount would be the city's responsibility.
Commissioners approved the agreement and authorized the mayor to execute the document. The roll call was recorded as unanimous approval.
