He reported that documentation for the Rodeo-Hercules annexation has been received from the State Board of Equalization and the annexation is on track for a July 1 effective date.
The board thanked dispatch staff during National Public Safety Communicators Week, and Chief McAllister noted the role dispatchers play in coordinating medical and fire responses. No members of the public spoke on the chief's report. After the presentation, the board moved to accept the report and the motion carried unanimously.
