The Abilene Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Policy Board on April 24 approved an amendment to the FY2025–2028 Transportation Improvement Program to align the MPO’s project listings and schedules with TxDOT Connect and to update several highway and transit project entries.
MPO staff said the amendment revises highway let dates, removes one state highway project from the 2028 program after its let date moved beyond the TIP horizon, and adjusts funding-category allocations.
