The Planning Commission recommended that the Common Council approve two zoning-map amendments to align the official zoning map with prior subdivision activity: one for 209 Woodland Avenue (Z-2883) and another for 1420 Midland Avenue (Z-2889). City staff explained these are map-maintenance items: parcels were subdivided prior to adoption of the rezone map and now need to be placed in the correct zone districts (R2 or other appropriate zoning).
The commission reviewed EAF Part 1 and Part 2 for each and issued negative SEQR declarations, concluding the amendments would not cause moderate-to-large environmental impacts. The commission voted to forward both map amendments to the Common Council for final disposition.
