Perryton ISD board approves two principal hires for 2025–26 school year

The Perryton ISD Board of Trustees voted 7–0 to hire two principals for the 2025–26 school year, approving Angela Hollowell as principal at Kendall and Lacey Robertson as principal at Williams Intermediate.

Board member Mister Brown recommended Hollowell for Kendall, saying, "Angela has already been working with her staff and has done a fantastic job." The board then moved and seconded a motion to offer Hollowell the contract; the motion carried 7–0.

Brown also recommended Lacey Robertson for Williams Intermediate, praising Robertson's tenure with the district and leadership experience. "Lacey has been a teacher with us for a good number of years. She's also served as an instructional coach in leadership positions," Brown said. The board moved and seconded a motion to offer Robertson a contract for the 2025–26 school year; that motion also passed 7–0.

Both hires were made during the board's brief action-item portion of the work session. The board did not take additional personnel actions on the record during this portion of the meeting.
