Pharr schedules Trash Off/Adopt-a-Highway cleanup May 3; volunteers sought

Castro said the city provides vests and trash bags but not sturdy gloves; volunteers should bring sturdier gloves and sun protection if desired.
Castro said the event is free, open to the public, and intended to fulfill the city's Adopt-a-Highway/Trash Off obligations with TxDOT and Keep Texas Beautiful. Board members and staff asked to circulate the electronic flyer and help recruit volunteers.
