Commissioners agree to provide key-fob access to BOCC staff; campus-wide prox-card transition planned

Chair Commissioner Metari proposed at the April 15 meeting that remaining employees in the Board of County Commissioners office receive key fobs so they could access the BOCC office without using a keypad. Staff said that over several years the county could expand prox-card access across campus and eventually replace standalone fobs.
A commissioner asked whether other departments could receive similar access; Metari said department managers could bring requests to the board. One commissioner said "No objection" when Metari asked whether to proceed.
