One selectman suggested forming a small working group including a planning-board member, a selectman, the planning director and staff.
Motion: A motion to remove the article from special town meeting number 2 was made and seconded; the removal passed unanimously.
The board said there is no looming statutory deadline forcing immediate action and that delaying until the fall would allow the town to craft clearer local rules and address related topics such as short-term rental regulation and sewer-metering procedures.
