- Item 5 (1829 San Angelo Boulevard): The commission continued the application for three weeks to the May 6 hearing to allow the applicant to provide a clearer site plan, respond to traffic and circulation questions, and continue discussion with neighbors. Commissioner Daniel Kellum moved to continue; Commissioner Taylor Watson seconded and the continuance passed. Staff noted site‑plan and alley access questions remain; the applicant offered to pave or improve the alley if required.
- Item 23 (320 East Carson Street): The applicant seeks MF‑18 limited density multifamily to restore four units on a lot currently with four units. Commissioner Taylor Watson moved to continue the case to May 20 so the applicant can meet with the Government Hill Alliance and provide documented neighbor support within 200 feet; Commissioner Eddie Reyes seconded and the motion passed.
- Item 29 (9615 US Highway 181 North): The applicant requested and the commission accepted a continuance to May 6 to allow submission of a fuller site plan. The applicant stated they will amend the request to C2CD with a conditional use for a concrete batching plant; the applicant said an improved site plan would be submitted within 2–3 weeks.
Commissioners said continuances allow time to refine site plans and to ensure meaningful neighborhood outreach. Commissioner Watson urged applicants to contact the district commissioner early so questions can be addressed ahead of the hearing. The continuances were carried by roll call votes.
