Ada County commissioners approve HVAC contract, pass two resolutions and a proclamation; table several bid awards

The Ada County Board of Commissioners voted to award a facilities HVAC contract, approved two resolutions and a county proclamation and took routine administrative actions during its April open business meeting.

The board voted unanimously to award bid 25043 for HVAC (variable refrigerant flow) replacement in the County Assessor's Office to Intelligent Design Mechanical Solutions for $254,537, after the county procurement evaluation team recommended that firm as the lowest responsive bidder. "It is the recommendation of the evaluation group to award the contract for bid 25043 to Intelligent Design Mechanical Solutions as the lowest responsive bidder in the amount of $254,537," a procurement representative read into the record.

The commissioners also approved two resolutions listed on the agenda: Resolution 3086, authorizing sole‑source procurement of Trimble GPS equipment for the landfill, and Resolution 3087, approving the sale of Ada County personal property (vehicles and miscellaneous office furniture).
