At the start of the April 8 meeting the Overton County Board of Education approved the consent agenda and related executive action items. The consent agenda included numerous fiscal‑year program revisions (Title I, Title II, IDEA and CTE Perkins line items as listed in the meeting packet) and approval of Livingston Academy FFA overnight trips to state and national contests.
The board also accepted letters of retirement from Tammy Daley, Melanie Nard and Carrie Aldridge and approved letters of resignation from Rachel Ramsey, Jessica Bilbrey, Josh Carwell, Darlene Buck and Matt Hauser (noted as LA football coach). Those items were presented on the consent agenda or as separate personnel approvals and were approved by motion and voice vote.
Board members recorded the approvals at the meeting; where expenditures were involved the board used roll‑call voting procedures earlier in the agenda (the director’s contract vote was later handled as a roll call discussion but not finalized). The FFA overnight trip and listed program revisions were included in the consent motion and approved.
The board’s approvals allow the listed personnel transitions to proceed and authorize the program revisions and trips noted in the meeting materials.
