District rolls out MyRide bus-tracking app; superintendent says about 300 parents signed up

"All you have to do as a parent is download the app," Holmes said. The system provides parents with estimated arrival times and push notifications when their student scans on and off the bus. The superintendent said the service became available "as of I think it was last week," and encouraged parents to check the district website for setup instructions.
Holmes said the app will help parents know whether a bus will be early or late and provide a clearer picture of student pick-up and drop-off. He also noted that some technical steps are required to register and that the district is distributing information to families to support sign-ups.
The board did not take action on the item; the update was informational. The superintendent and board members encouraged parents to download the app and contact the district help resources for setup issues.
