The board approved a targeted cleaning for a subset of the worst‑affected units at an approved cost and directed staff to begin with the trouble areas; staff said a full‑district set of cassette cleanings was estimated at a higher total if pursued later.
Parking/driveway maintenance: The board approved a crack‑fill/slurry and patch project for the middle‑school parking/drives and the board authorized the vendor quote for that work.
Security cameras/NVR: The board approved purchase and installation of NVR/STORAGE hardware and additional cameras for the middle school (and an MVR/NVR system connection at the elementary) so the district can view all cameras on a unified system. Staff said some existing cameras were not recording to a single recorder and remote access was limited; the upgrades will bring cameras onto a single recorder and add cameras to address blind spots.
Other items discussed: epoxy flooring bids for select rooms, gym‑floor repair estimates (still under review), and a wood‑shop dust‑collection system that staff flagged as a larger future ticket.
