The consultant’s scope in the proposal covers staff and community surveys, facility assessment work (including MEP analysis), development of facility options, cost estimates and support through potential bond-planning steps. Tucker described a recommended master agreement with service orders so the district can issue a separate service order for design work later if the board chooses.
Board members asked about schedule and the balance between moving quickly and doing deliberate outreach. Tucker said staff surveys were scheduled for late spring, community engagement planned for the fall and cost/option development running through the school year, with potential bond-timing discussions and vendor pricing considerations to follow.
