District to hear facility-assessment firms ICS and Nexus at next board meeting; staff to schedule vendor presentations

Administrators proposed scheduling 20–30 minute presentation slots after the board’s work session at the board’s next meeting to hear each firm’s approach, typical process, and experience working with school districts.
Staff also said they would conduct a walkthrough of a local furniture store property as part of due diligence and that a realtor working on that property would assist. No procurement award or contract was decided at the meeting; the board indicated interest in hearing presentations before selecting a firm or opening a formal RFP.
Staff will return with presentation materials and any additional documentation for board review and follow-up action.
