Linda Young, the county’s CSA/CFD coordinator in the Resource Management Agency, told the board the county requested approval for a total of 104 acre‑feet of water for Stonegate for 2025–26. The ordinance’s exhibit breaks the total into per‑resident allocations: 394,000 gallons per resident for agricultural use and an average of about 300 gallons per day for domestic use (county exhibit figures provided during the hearing).
No public comment was received during the hearing. The board moved to adopt the CEQA findings, accept introduction and waive further reading of the ordinance, adopt the ordinance amending water allocation requirements for CSA 31 for 2025–26 and retroactively approve publication of a one‑quarter‑page display ad published prior to the hearing. The roll call vote was unanimous.
Why it matters: The ordinance sets the community’s water allotments for the year and formalizes the Stonegate allotment program for 2025–26.
