The agreement allows University of Phoenix students to be placed in district schools to complete required internship and preceptor hours. Board members were told the agreement had been reviewed by the district attorney and found acceptable; administration recommended approval.
Board members moved and seconded the recommendation and, with no discussion, the motion passed 5-0.
The contract will remain in effect until terminated by either party, according to the district’s description during the meeting.
