Board backs ISBA resolution committee recommendations and authorizes delegate to vote at November assembly

Local resolutions and future ideas
Board members also discussed the possibility of submitting district-originated resolutions in future cycles, including ideas raised in the meeting such as exempting mental-health days from chronic-absenteeism tallies. Staff noted deadlines and suggested the board consider ideas during the spring cycle so staff can prepare submissions for the resolutions committee.

Board members said they would accept the resolution committee's recommendations and authorized the appointed delegate (Joe, board member) to cast votes in line with the committee recommendations at the November ISBA meeting.
