Jay Edwards, senior property manager for the Port of San Francisco, told the board the proposed 10‑year lease with Bauer Intelligent Transportation Services would move the tenant from Piers 27 and 29 to Pier 50 to accommodate the new cruise terminal and to support the tenant’s expansion in San Francisco. Edwards said the lease as submitted included a minor amendment to an indemnification provision and that the resolution had been resubmitted to include a CEQA appeal process and new environmental findings.
Public comment on the lease was brief; the Board then voted to file the hearing record and to adopt the resolution related to the CEQA findings and the Pier 50 lease. Roll call on the resolution recorded 11 ayes; the clerk announced the resolution was adopted.
What’s next: The resolution adopted the CEQA findings and authorized the Port lease to proceed to the Port Commission for execution in accordance with the adopted environmental determinations.
