Planning staff told the commission the 3.26-acre site, in a Light Industrial (I-1) zone within Airport Influence Area C, has historically been used for industrial activities and is not proposing new buildings or changes to the rear storage yard. Planning staff said the city’s recent code adoption now requires vehicle sales in the I-1 zone to be approved through a conditional use permit and recommended approval with the added condition that appeared in the late correspondence packet.
