Conewago Valley board narrowly approves release of CTE construction bids; NOE timeline and enrollment projections debated

The Conewago Valley School District board voted to release the CTE construction documents for public bid after a presentation on April 14, approving the step by a 5-4 margin.

Board members heard a detailed schedule from the district’s design consultants for both the CTE renovation/addition and the New Oxford Elementary (NOE) project, and an independent enrollment consultant reviewed several projection scenarios that board members and residents sharply questioned.
