Kimon Jordan, director of Housing and Neighborhood Planning, said staff had successfully contacted a family tied to one parcel and that the family had applied for a tax trust; staff said they were waiting for the family to set a closing date with the Finance Department. For other parcels, Jordan said staff had not had additional contact with one property owner and requested the council move those items forward.
Councilors agreed to move item 42 forward and to hold item 43 to permit one more contact attempt to the property owner; the council said that if there was no contact by the same time next week, they would move item 43 forward as well. Items 44, 45 and 46 were requested to be held by staff.
Planning staff summarized the status: contact made and application submitted for at least one property; no recent contact for others; requests to hold some items pending further action.
