The rezoning request, first approved by the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission (TMAPC) with an 8-0 recommendation, would allow light office uses and also enables residential uses ranging from detached houses up to apartments under the OL district. Nathan, a city planning staff member, told the committee the developer proposed an initial preliminary plat showing a six-lot office park but chose to proceed with a straight OL zoning rather than a binding optional development plan (ODP).
