The Contractors State License Board told its executive committee on April 11 that it is moving forward with two IT projects intended to automate licensing and centralize records. Mike Collins, an IT manager presenting to the Executive Committee, said the board is working with SimplyGov to build an interview‑style online application for sole‑owner contractor licenses that will let applicants upload documents and pay fees electronically.
Said Mike Collins: “We are in the process of automating our original contractors, license original application for original contracts license, and we'll be automating that so that we could be submitted online.”…
