The Stevensville Town Council approved a package of routine and substantive items in a short series of votes at its meeting.
Councilors voted 3-0 to approve the town council meeting minutes of March 27, 2025, and the council-of-the-whole meeting minutes of April 1, 2025. The council then approved payment of liability claims as read into the record and discussed several claims tied to plumbing work for a Garden City property; staff said they are awaiting a bid to complete repairs before finalizing additional invoices.
The council also voted 3-0 to accept a recommendation to award the contract for a self-service fuel station at the Stevensville Airport to Energy Systems LLC (see separate article). The award will be forwarded to the Federal Aviation Administration for concurrence, per the town’s procurement process.
Separately, the council voted 3-0 to suspend council rules to cancel the May 8, 2025, town council meeting and authorized claims to be paid out of cycle during the cancellation.
