The board voted to hire Lisa Casiano as a part‑time clerk at $23.50 per hour. Board members said the hire replaces a departing clerk and that the position and rate were included in the adopted budget. The motion passed by voice vote.
On financial matters, the board authorized the supervisor to pay accounts payable totaling $315,009.71; motion, second and voice vote carried. The board also approved year‑to‑date budget transfers dated April 11, 2025; the item was presented with the accompanying schedule and passed by voice vote.
The board scheduled several meetings and public sessions: an IWS public scoping session for April 24, 2025 at 7 p.m.; a consolidated water‑sewer district annual meeting on April 29, 2025 at 7 p.m.; and other agenda items were postponed to April 24 as noted. A liquor license notice for an LLC operating in the town’s Black Dirt farming area was reviewed and approved by roll call: Councilman Gallo — Aye; Councilmember Lyons — Aye; Councilmember Cantarina — Aye; Supervisor Petra — Aye.
