“This is what I presented to the county commission last night,” a presenter identified in the transcript as Ms. Bray said, outlining teacher step increases, proposed raises for classified employees and higher insurance and retirement costs. “We’ve been discussing for a while now trying to balance the budget, without utilizing fund balance. It’s just not sustainable.”
