Bedford planning commission approves final plat for 17.75-acre Glade Park South site, clearing way for H‑E‑B store

The Bedford Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved the final plat for Lot 1, Block A of Glade Park South on April 10, 2025, clearing a procedural hurdle for a planned H‑E‑B store on the 17.75-acre site north of Cheeks Parker Road.

The plat application, presented at a public hearing, covers property that largely lies within the City of Euless but is partially inside Bedford city limits. Enrique, a member of Bedford planning staff, told commissioners the application "meets all of our subdivision regulations" and recommended approval. "The proposed plat meets all the criteria, and therefore, the approval body takes action on it," he said.
