At the start of the meeting, planning staff reported administrative updates to the commission, including recent City Council action and an upcoming professional-services solicitation.
"They did complete the public hearing and the first reading of the ordinance for the McCall capital case and they did approve the request," staff said when summarizing the City Council's April 3 meeting. Staff also said the city has posted a request for qualifications (RFQ) for a consultant to update the comprehensive plan and the transportation master plan. "The hope is we'll have a consultant by May early June and we're gonna move forward with, the fun part of our jobs," the staff member said.
No formal action was taken by the planning commission on these informational items; they were presented as the director's report at the start of the meeting.
