Director of Sports reports strong event attendance, field maintenance and ongoing pool project

The Director of Sports reported that the recent ACCA prom at the facility drew most seniors and was well attended. "They did say that most of the senior showed up," the director said, and added that soccer activities have proceeded with "really no complaints," and referees have been performing well.
The director said maintenance crews removed the black rubber surfacing from the small playground area under the soccer field and that the area now contains rock. A recent softball tournament fielded 10 teams; the director contrasted that with the much larger Mother's Day baseball tournament, which has seen a higher number of sign-ups. The director also said the pool project remains "going good accordingly."
The director relayed a request from Courtney that board members continue to review the policy-and-procedure and assets documents so staff can complete them soon. The report closed with board members thanking staff for hosting prom and for the current level of facility use.
No formal board actions were taken on the items in the Director of Sports report; these were informational updates about programming, maintenance and ongoing capital work.
