House approves naming portion of U.S. Highway 63 for Officer Jason B. Meyer

Davids thanked the Transportation Committee chair for a unanimous committee report. Davids and Hicks both asked colleagues to support the measure. The clerk recorded the roll as 134 ayes and 0 nays and the bill passed with its title agreed to.
The designation is ceremonial; the bill does not include an appropriation. The House action moves the naming forward in the legislative process.
