Philadelphia City Council on April 10 adopted resolutions appointing five new members to the Citizens Police Oversight Commission (CPOC) and reappointing one incumbent.
The council heard a brief presentation from Tanya McCleary, executive director of the Citizens Police Oversight Commission, and Hassan Bennett, chair, who introduced the nominees. The nominees presented to council and subsequently adopted were Michelle Enix Kenny, Malika Rockman, Gilberto Gonzales, Latonya Whitehead and Erica Stewart; Hakeem P.A. was reappointed to the commission.
