URA approves on-call environmental engineering contract with OASIS Consulting

The Forest Park Urban Redevelopment Authority on Tuesday voted to approve an on-call environmental engineering consulting agreement with OASIS Consulting.
The motion, made during the URA meeting by a member and seconded by another, carried with all members present voting in favor. The contract covers standard environmental engineering services and an optional investigative scope the authority asked the consultant to include.
The URA packet included the formal proposal; staff said the period covered would run from Jan. 9, 2025 through the end of the year. Attorney Matricarte summarized the two proposals submitted by OASIS — one for standard on-call services and a second adding investigative work — and confirmed a single contract could include both scopes if the URA approved them together. After discussion the board moved and approved the contract.
The authority did not specify dollar amounts for the contract in the meeting discussion. The board recorded no amendments to the agreement during the vote.
Members present at the vote included Adrian Wilson and Ellie Lawrence. The motion passed with all voting members saying “Aye.”
The URA will execute the contract with OASIS Consulting and proceed with the consultant’s scope of work as approved at the meeting.
