Chair Taylor opened the hearing on House Bill 3022, described by Whitney as a Department of Employment concept that authorizes specific state agencies to share information with the Oregon Employment Department for administering the Paid Leave Oregon and unemployment insurance programs. The bill applies to disclosures and reports required on or after Jan. 1, 2023, and takes effect on the 91st day after adjournment.
