Committee approves parking, traffic, grants, and contracts; roundup of votes and outcomes

The Transportation & Public Safety Committee on an otherwise orderly morning approved a set of ordinances, resolutions and intergovernmental agreements relating to parking and traffic changes, public health grants, police extra-duty agreements and several other items.

The meeting chair, Alderman Scott Speicher, opened the agenda and the committee moved through standard files with little opposition. Multiple items were adopted by motion and voice vote after brief presentations and limited questioning by committee members.
