The Environment and Natural Areas Natural Resources Advisory Committee (NRAC) has been asked to prepare a recommendation for the Benton County planning commission on the Coffin Butte landfill expansion, NRAC member Sean Maguire told the Disposal Site Advisory Committee (DSAC).
The request stems from county code that assigns certain advisory roles — with NRAC asked to research the expansion and deliver a recommendation to the planning commission. Maguire said NRAC has “four or five weeks” to develop questions, templates and materials and expects to present a recommendation in time for the planning commission’s review in mid‑April…
