Public commenter urges Middlesex County Planning Board to improve meeting access and publish recordings

Charlie Cradifield, who identified himself as an editor in New Brunswick and said he records meetings for a YouTube audience, spoke during the public comment period and urged the planning board to adopt measures that would improve public access. Cradifield praised the recent Transportation Symposium and asked the board to publish meeting recordings and make remote participation available.
"I would encourage all of you to, use those those tools that you know about and you know exist and implement them here," Cradifield said. He suggested publishing recordings on the county website, offering remote access similar to municipal Zoom meetings, and adjusting meeting times to be more convenient for the public.
Cradifield referenced existing practices by the county commissioners and a borough council that offer remote participation and said those approaches could be used for planning board meetings to increase attendance and public engagement. The chair moved, seconded and closed the public portion after Cradifield—s remarks; the motion carried.
