Superintendent Dr. Hinojosa told the Spring Independent School District board on April 8 that she has submitted notice of her intent to retire and resign effective June 30, 2025. "I have given notice to the board of my intent to retire to resign from Spring ISD effective June 30," she said during closing remarks.

The board instructed administration to distribute communications to the community the following day.
