School committee approves consent agenda, concussion policy second reading and several committee items

Strategic planning outreach: The committee approved a proposed community outreach plan for the district strategic plan—consisting of a public survey and a series of translated focus groups to be held between October and January—on a motion by Member Olapade, seconded by Member Reinfeld.
MASC resolutions: The committee instructed the district delegate to support the set of resolutions recommended by the Massachusetts Association of School Committees at the association’s fall conference. Member Graham moved the packet; Member Olapade seconded. The committee approved the resolutions package.
